CARBONE 14

Inspired by gypsum dragging—an ancestral craft technique associated with cornices and architectural moldings—the CARBONE 14 collection reinterprets the art of molding through experimental formal research.

Between memory and projection, these objects exist outside of any identifiable temporality. Difficult to situate, both culturally and chronologically, they defy established categories and open up a space for questioning.

Handcrafted, these silent forms appear as relics: fragments of ancient—or future—architecture whose origin remains undetermined. Enigmatic vestiges, they inhabit space with restraint and invite contemplation.

IMPLANT(S) COAT HOOKS

The Implant(s) series extends this reflection to the scale of the wall. Grafted onto the architecture, these coat hooks inhabit the wall with restraint, somewhere between decorative object and relic.

Both supports and sculptures, the Implant(s) series deliberately blurs this boundary, maintaining an unstable balance between domestic use and archaeological presence. They appear as the remains of an ancient—or future—architecture whose origin remains undetermined.

Silent and discreet, they evoke an archaeology of everyday life, where the utilitarian object becomes a trace, and where the wall becomes a field of exploration.
